Is ADHD actually a vitamin deficiency?

Posted in Vitamins on January 4th, 2009 by biometicslady

According to a  decades old Government article , ADHD may not be as complicated as you’ve been led to believe.  I’m quoting here “A 10 year test with rats proved that by withholding Calcium they can be bred down to a third the size of those fed with an adaquate amount of that mineral.  Their intelligence, too, can be controlled by mineral feeding as readily as their size, their bony structure, and their general health.  Place a number of these little animals in a maze after starving some of them in a certain mineral element.  The starved ones will be unable to find their way out, whereas the others will have little or no difficulty in getting out.  Their dispositions can be altered by mineral feeding.  They can be made quarrelsome and belligerent; they can even be turned into cannibals and be made to devour each other.  A cage full of rats will live in amity.  Restrict their Calcium, they will become irritable and draw away from each other.  They will begin to fight.  Restore their Calcium and they will grow more friendly; in time they will begin to sleep in a pile as before.  Many backward children are “stupid” merely because they are deficient in Magnesia.  We punish them for our failure to feed them properly.”

What does this mean for “ADHD”?  I’ll let you make up your own mind on that.

  • But consider this, hasn’t ADHD become more prevalent and problematic in the last few decades?  Why do you suppose that is?
  • Now consider the state of our soils and foods.  This article was written pre 1950, and it was a proven fact that there was serious depletion.  Being married to a farmer, I can tell you with certainty the advent of fertilizer has not solved this problem.  Three things are added to soil, Potash, Nitrogen, and Phosphorus.  Since the human body NEEDS about 98 different minerals, adding three doesn’t make much difference to what we need.  Of course, those three make the plants look good, makes them bigger and helps our yield.
  • Add to this the fact we now have GMO seed.  What is that?  Genetically modified.  It makes the plants resistant to Roundup, which normally kills everything, so the farmer can spray his fields for weeds that sap moisture and nutrition from the plant.  The necessity for this is an entirely different article, the bottom line is that spray is poison.  So on top of vitamin mineral deficiency, our bodies have to deal with poison.
  • Then we have transport time.  This is much longer than it used to be, and every moment a fruit or vegetable is not eaten after harvest, it’s value depletes.

So what does all of this lead us to conclude?  You know the answer to that.  What I can suggest, however, is the possibily that our ultra absorbable liquid vitamins and unique Calcium/Magnesium drink may indeed offer you and yours more help in this area of ADHD than you realize.  I cannot name specifics, so please get with me at Biometicslady@yahoo.com and I will point you in the right direction.
